Hello everyone! 👋 Welcome back to our newsletter. The first part of the year has been very active and we haven’t stopped at all levels, so we are going to give you good news to start the summer properly. Let's start!

ENTREPRENEUR AWARDS FINALISTS

We repeat our recognition as finalists of the Entrepreneur XXI Awards, although the triumph has eluded us ☹. What a joy to be once again among the 5 innovative companies in Asturias that compete for this award. You know what they say, "the third time is the charm". 😉

MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS – 4YFN

This year we attended the 4FYN again, one of the most important events in the technology sector and in the entrepreneurship world, within the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. We did it as part of the Asturias startup delegation organized by ASTUREX, IDEPA and CEEI Asturias. There we were able to present our platform and different solutions to a large number of companies and people that came to our own stand. We are already working on projects that were generated at the event. Undoubtedly an incredible event that year after year is getting better and better.

FROM ASTURIAS TO SILICON VALLEY

During May we had the opportunity to participate in the Desafía San Francisco Programme, organized by ICEX and Red.es, as one of the 10 selected startups. In this immersion programme were carried out mentoring sessions, talks with local entrepreneurs, workshops to grow your startup, etc. In addition, we had the opportunity to present our company ideas to investors, entrepreneurs and workers of large technology-related corporations during the “Demo Day”.

EXPLORING NEW MARKETS

During June we took part in the Technical Conference on Digital Health – Qatar 2023, promoted by ICEX ICEX and the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Doha. During the 3-day agenda, we had the opportunity to present our solutions to Qatari institutions, local companies and healthcare service providers. We hope that in the coming months we will be able to talk about a new project in the Middle East. 😉 To top it all off, they also received us at the Residence of the Spanish Ambassador in Qatar where we were able to continue strengthening our connections with the most important people in the Qatari healthcare ecosystem.

SOUTH SUMMIT 2023

Among 4,500 candidate companies from 125 different countries, Aritium has been selected as one of the 100 finalists of the South Summit Startup Competition held in Madrid. During the event we were able to pitch, as one of the ten finalists in the "Connectivity & Data" category, where we show the world how we work and we introduce our services. YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR AWARD

On the 23rd of June, Ángel Colao was awarded the Young Entrepreneur Award at the 3rd Telecommunications Night organised by the Asturias Association of Telecommunications Engineers. In addition, he gave a conference entitled "The Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence as the basis for the Hospital of the Future". A real recognition for our CEO and for Aritium, which only increases our desire to continue working every day to achieve our goals. Congratulations Ángel! 😊

SUCCESS CASE

The deployment that we carried out in a Primary Care Centre in Asturias has been able to convert common a traditional health center into an efficient and ecological Smart Health Centre capable of reducing energy consumption by 40%, promoting the wellbeing of people and improving the work of health workers. This achievement is also recognized by our partners, who have been impressed by the impact achieved and have decided to show it through the publication of two joint success cases. ¡¡WE ARE GROWING!!

We bring you very good news regarding Aritium data, and it is that we don’t stop growing! 🚀🚀🚀 In just six months we have tripled the connected devices and we already have AROUND 4,500 🚀. In addition, we are present in 50 CENTERS, with more than one project underway. We have also already started with our international expansion. We are in 4 countries (Spain, Portugal, Italy and Norway)!! 🌍 Although these data are a complete success, we want much more and we assure you that great things are coming. 🙌

NEW HIRES

Over the last few months, we have had the pleasure to welcome two new colleagues to our team.

Luis Fuertes, a Software Engineering student at the University of Oviedo, started with us in February as an intern and, today, he is already a full-time employee as part of Aritium's technical team.

Diego Cantera, who has studied Commerce and Marketing at the University of Oviedo and the Expert Course in Digital Transformation and Business Analytics at IUDE, has been with us since April as an intern with marketing and data analysis tasks.
